Two-stage break-in protection with the ABUS FTS206 window lock

With the FTS206 window lock, ABUS offers innovative break-in protection for use on the handle side of inward-opening windows and patio doors. What's so special about the ABUS FTS 206: the VdS-approved window lock has two levels of protection.

• Level 1 is partial protection: the lock is closed by gently pressing the latch bolt; no key is required to open it.

• Level 2 of the ABUS FTS206 additional window lock corresponds to total interlock and offers protection against break-ins; this is achieved by completely pressing in the latch bolt. This lock can only be opened again using the key.

The open and closed position of the window lock is immediately obvious thanks to a clearly visible red marking.

Retrofit windows with the ABUS FTS206 additional window lock

The FTS 206 window lock is perfect for retrofitting home security and is not only DIN-tested, but also meets strict VdS test criteria. In addition, the construction with solid frame strip and steel sash plate ensures a high level of security, which can be further improved by using a hinge side lock from ABUS.

The ABUS FTS 206 additional window lock is available in white, brown and silver and comes with two keys.

The window lock can also be combined with other ABUS products, for example with additional window locks from the ABUS FTS series, window handle locks from the ABUS FO series and ABUS hinge side locks from the FAS series.
