Whether for doors or windows: mounting brackets are an absolute must for secure attachment. With a width of 55 mm and a side length of either 70 x 58 mm or 120 x 58 mm, window mounting brackets are suitable for the proper installation of windows of all sizes. The brackets are made of robust metal and have a bend-resistant profile in accordance with technical guideline no. 20 issued by the Institut für Fenstertechnik e.V. Rosenheim.
That way, they can withstand long-term damage and, if installed correctly, will retain their shape even when subjected to strong force.
Thanks to their practical drill holes, they can be attached to all surfaces with the right screws and provide a sturdy 90-degree angle that supports both window and door frames. It is important that window mounting brackets are installed in the correct quantity and locations specified by the window model manufacturer to ensure maximum stability.
You should also follow the manufacturer's instructions for which fasteners to use and the step-by-step installation. 70 x 58 mm window mounting brackets have smaller leverage and are particularly suitable for windows of normal weight. 120 x 58 mm window mounting brackets should only be installed if this was specifically requested by the window manufacturer – and then only if the item in question fits and both sides run along the entire length. Otherwise, if there is not enough space, a piece of metal will protrude and that will inhibit proper fastening of the window or door.
