GEZE mounting plate for door closers

An automatic closing function cannot be installed in every installation situation and on every type of door – for example, because the door leaf is not strong enough or there is not enough space.

Fire and smoke protection doors also typically require door closers to be installed on a special mounting plate.

GEZE therefore provides conventional mounting plates as well as GEZE mounting plates for door closers with guide rails. These are designed specifically for use with the various GEZE door closer models (with the abbreviation TS):

• 2,000 V
• 3000
• 4000/5000

In order to match the door leaf visually, the models are optionally available in white or silver. The plates not only ensure that the closing mechanism can exert sufficient force for error-free locking – they also suit any design. The mounting plate is an essential accessory for attaching closing systems to fire protection doors and smoke protection doors.

In the case of less robust sashes or frames, it generally serves to secure the door, guarantees that the closing process runs smoothly and prevents damage to the door.

In the case of fire protection doors, it ensures that they close tightly even in extreme heat.
