At windows24.com we offer custom German windows and doors in a range of different dark brown shades. The colour adds depth and contrast to interiors and house exteriors alike and can also blend in well with existing front doors made from a dark wood. To discover more about the options or to order your new product today, just keep reading or head to our online configurator.
To supply windows and doors that perfectly complement different property plans or an existing front door and house interiors, we offer various types of finishes that can come in different shades of dark brown. To ensure excellent UV-resistance and long-lasting vibrance, all the options are professionally applied during manufacturing via processes like foiling or powder-coating.
For our window frames of all materials, a variety of dark brown RAL shades are available. These finishes are coded according to an international standardised system. A uPVC-alu exterior could be coated in a chocolate RAL 8017 matt, for example, which gives a rich, luxurious look. On the other hand, for aluminium, customers often opt for a grey toned RAL 8019, which brings a cooler tone and is increasingly in trend.
Alongside RAL tones, we offer finishes in the form of decors. These typically give a uPVC window or aluminium frames a replica wooden or metallic look. A particularly innovative option is the woodec Turner Oak Toffee timber decor, available for our aluplast uPVC windows. This is a very high-quality finish, which adds an authentic timber look to a modern material base and even boasts a realistic texture.
Regardless of the timber type selected, varnishes are a further way to create a dark brown finish for wooden windows or French doors. Originally a light timber, when a larch frame is coated in the water-based varnish larch dark brown 222, it takes on a richer tone, for example.
To add charm and finish the look of brown windows, we offer interior and exterior window sills that can also be configured to suit individual preferences.
A marble beige or dolomite uPVC interior sill could go well with brown uPVC windows, for example, and provide a useful storage ledge that can be easily wiped clean. An alternative option would then be a Werzalit wooden interior sill with a timber decor or a black/grey betolit pearl textured finish. When it comes to exterior window sills, a dark bronze C34 colour or mahogany RAL 8016 could then match the outside of the window nicely.
As another stylish accessory, glazing bars bring traditional character and charm. They can be ordered with the window and come in a matching colour.
Various types are also available, such as helima bars that go between panes, viennese models that are applied to the external surfaces, or sash bars that properly split the glass into individual sections for a higher price. The thickness of the bars, their number, and the vertical or horizontal placement can also be determined.
When it comes to achieving privacy or adding interest, our ornamental finishes can be ideal, for example. From white frosted satinato, which shields interiors from onlookers while letting much light in, to patterned Master-Carré® style textures, a brown frame can be complemented effortlessly.
Triple glazing, featuring three panes with the space between them filled with argon gas, slows energy loss via conduction, for instance. This helps to keep interiors at a stable temperature year-round, reducing carbon footprint and utility bills.
Beyond insulation, by adding purpose-designed invisible foil interlayers during manufacturing, we can also provide various glazings that comes with special soundproofing qualities and break-in protection – to find out more just select options in the configurator or contact us today.
