Blue windows can add beautiful character to stone cottages and seaside properties alike. With windows and doors available in many different tones from a classic blue to shades with a turquoise or indigo hue, at windows24.com you are sure to find a bespoke design that beautifully complements your building façade, front door, and interior design scheme.
At windows24.com, the available blue finishes vary depending on the window's frame material.
For the external aluminium cladding of uPVC-alu or wood-alu products, for example, a standard mid-tone RAL 5014 matt can be selected. The uPVC or wood interior then works well with a classic white or contrasting anthracite grey.
When it comes to our wooden window, the largest selection of blue colour finishes are then available. A vivid RAL 5005 option sets a statement, for example, while a light acrylic RAL 5024 can add a softer touch. In this case the selected tone will be applied to both sides of the window. To view the full range, just head to the configurator or contact us with questions.
Whatever blue finish you choose, at windows24.com you can be sure of long lasting vibrance and excellent UV resistance as all colours are professionally applied during manufacturing. To apply a coating to a uPVC surface, for instance, a high temperature foiling process is used.
Beyond the available tones for the finish, further factors should be considered when choosing the frame material of your new blue window. This includes price and functional performance.
A uPVC-alu window, for example, tends to offer the best thermal insulation. This is thanks to multiple integrated chambers inside its uPVC core that trap air and reduce energy loss via conduction.
Furthermore composite options like uPVC-alu or wood-alu, which feature external metal cladding, have the added benefit of being especially impact-resistant and well-protected from the elements.
This is because the aluminium shell is naturally strong and is additionally anodised during production to ensure anti-corrosion and anti-rust properties.
Although pure timber frames or the interiors of wood-alu variants require a little more upkeep than uPVC surfaces and may not be as weather resistant, they come with impressive natural sturdiness and soundproofing. Furthermore, unparalleled charm and natural grain textures are a plus.
At windows24.com we specialise in innovative German products that are highly tailored to meet specific customer requirements and preferences. To achieve this, we therefore offer a wide selection of different glass types.
Standard double glazing can be chosen, for example, but clients can also upgrade to triple-glazed window glass for increased energy efficiency. Similarly, for those after enhanced break-in protection or noise reduction, laminated safety glass or soundproof window glazing with invisible foil interlayers is available.
Beyond upgrading functional performance, our glazing can also add style. A Silvit 178 or Cathedral Small textured surface finish can add interest, for example, and work particularly well for windows that are to be installed near a stained glass front door.
