It not only works excellently indoors, but also adds, courtesy of the Columbus front door, an unusual accent to your home's facade. The distinctive coffered elements, which are divided into two in this model, are typical of the style: one large coffer with a segmental arch is combined with a smaller rectangular one. This design gives your aluminium front door both a three-dimensional and very classic look that also goes well with old buildings.

Opinions differ widely when it comes to the right colour for a country-style door, which ultimately gives you a lot of freedom. The Columbus front door can look just as good in a strong colour such as green as it does in characteristic white. And if it suits the house, you can of course also opt for a wood finish.

You can also use our configurator to select matching accessories for your front door. Even the handle can decisively change the appearance of your door. And since this model features a closed door leaf, a peephole is also an option; we offer ones in classic chrome or electronic versions.

In addition to this, you have many other options for making your aluminium front door more secure. The Columbus model is by default equipped with a high level of basic security, to which you can add further custom components. We also offer two preconfigured security packages to equip your front door according to resistance class RC1-N or RC2.

When it comes to modern unlocking systems, however, you should consider whether they match the design of your Columbus front door. A code lock or fingerprint scanner undoubtedly increases the security of your door, but it may seem out of place when paired with a country style. If you don't want to do without this feature, we recommend choosing the finger scanner and integrating it discreetly into the handle.
