Stylish entrance cover with the Cape Town canopy

Featuring a slight arch, the Cape Town door canopy adds modern, sleek style to any entrance. Thanks to the construction of its varnished composite panel, the model appears anthracite from above, and white from its underside.

Not only does this add a contemporary design, but the difference also contributes to an important functional performance as it blocks the sun’s rays and is highly UV-resistant. This is an ideal feature for entrances because over-exposure to solar radiation and heat can cause doors to deform and colour to fade.

To ideally match a range of doors and building façades, the aluminium supports and frame of the Cape Town canopy can then be coloured a deep anthracite, classic white, or silver according to customer preferences. The colour finish is applied to the product via a modern and professional process called powder coating. This provides additional UV-resistance while ensuring a durable surface vibrancy for years to come.

Like many of our other canopies, the Cape Town model also features purpose-designed parts to ensure that homeowners stay dry and protected when unlocking the door and entering the building. A gutter is located at the front of the canopy, for example, to prevent any build-up of rainwater, while the slight arch and back wall seal further ensure good drainage and a watertight fit. In addition, the canopy has been designed to withstand loads of up to 100 kg, making it equally well-suited to heavy snowfall.
