The Barrie canopy – ornate design with modern performance

A timeless classic, our awning-shaped ornate Barrie door canopy with its curved supports and transparent polycarbonate glass panel adds decorative charm to the entrance areas of country cottages and minimalistic modern buildings alike.

To have the model blend or contrast with a range of different doors and entrances, customers can determine whether the aluminium frame and supports should be coloured a classic white or rather a contemporary tone of anthracite. This finish is then applied via a professional process called powder coating.

Alongside its retro design and professional colour finish, the Barrie door canopy has been manufactured with further features that deliver excellent functional performance. A front drainage gutter prevents rain from collecting on the panel, for example. This makes the model particularly watertight and means that, along with the back wall seal, homeowners are kept dry when unlocking the door and entering the building.

The Barrie canopy is not just well suited to wet weather though. Capable of withstanding a load of up to 80kg, it has been purpose-designed to hold up in heavy snowfall, for instance. Polycarbonate glass then also performs excellently on sunnier days – thanks to the material's high UV-resistance, door surfaces and colour finishes remain well protected from the potential deforming or fading effects of solar radiation.
