Break-in protection with a hinge side lock from ABUS

The window lock on the handle side is now an integral part of domestic security technology. However, securing the hinge side lock on windows and balcony doors (left/right) is at least as important – especially with turn-tilt fittings.

A good way to increase security is to attach the VdS -recognised ABUS FAS97 hinge side lock. It impresses with its particularly convenient operation:

When the window is closed, the ABUS FAS 97 locks automatically, no key is required to open the lock.

The ABUS additional window lock only has to be unlocked by hand when the window is tilted.

The ABUS FAS97 additional window lock, which is available in brown and white, also meets the strict VdS test criteria and withstands a pressure resistance of around 1 ton.

Combine the FAS97 side hinge lock with other security devices

When attempting to break in, burglars usually use the supposedly easy entry option through windows or patio doors.
